1. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (2008)

Genres: war, history and drama

IMDB rating: 7.8/10

No_Spoiler_Review

According to Adolf Hitler, he could have killed all the Jews in the world but he didn't

The world can understand why he was obsessed with killing Jews. Racial hatred and religious differences are basically the instigator of all the destruction of the world, even if the leader or a special group is responsible, many innocent people have to pay the price of that destruction. This movie is a reflection of the inhuman torture of the Nazi forces on the Jews in the Second World War made in 2008.

Based on the true events of a German Jewish concentration camp, this movie will make anyone think about how brutal human cruelty can be. Throughout, the innocent friendship between 8-year-old Bruno and his friend creates a great bond of hate and love that transcends all differences. The question remains here, are all fathers, races or religions of the world superior to the people on the other side of the border. However, the most heartbreaking moment has to wait until the very last scene, which is the final result of every act of destruction in history.

After finishing this movie based on John Boyne's novel, your cold brain will question itself for a while, how much of what you see is true, how much of it is presented to us as truth.

At present thousands of ruthless people are losing their lives due to various conflicts in the world, their only mistake is that they belong to a certain country, race or group which is completely their misfortune. For them, "Lines may divide us, but hope will unite us"

2. Schindler's List (1993)

Running time: 3h 17m

Genre: War/drama

IMDB: 8.9/10

Rotten tomatoes: 97%

Director: Steven Spielberg

Cast: Liam Neeson, Ben Kingsley, Ralph Fiennes etc

Germany was defeated in World War I and signed a humiliating treaty under the Allies. Later, Germany under the leadership of Hitler became obsessed with recovering the golden glory. At this time, Jews owned most of the factories and industrial establishments in Germany. But Hitler was not willing to tolerate the rule of anyone else in Germany, a pure Aryan race. Defeat in the First World War, revenge for the Treaty of Versailles, hatred of the Jews, Hitler invaded Poland in 1939.

At that time, an opportunity-seeking ceramics businessman named Oskar Schindler came to German-occupied Poland. He was handsome, very clever and initially a bit of a greedy type. He wanted to set up a pottery factory in Poland, hoping to get workers at low wages. The work that was thought, became the factory. Budhir played with a Jew as his manager. Schindler wanted only profit and profit!

After some time passed, a brutal officer named Amon became the military commander of the region. Immediately after his arrival, the level of persecution against the Jews increased many times! Schindler's thoughts changed after seeing one of these incidents, a once greedy businessman decided to save the persecuted Jews as much as he could. Make a list, so that they can be sent to a safe place.

Can Mr. Oskar Schindler?

3. The Green Mile (1999)

Director - Frank Darabont

IMDb: 8.5

Run Time: 3 Hours 8 Minutes

Genre: Fantasy/Drama/Crime

This movie will be at the top of the list of movies I will never watch again. Because I don't want to be the emotional one I was the first time. Based on Stephen King's novel The Green Mail published in 1996, this movie with the same name was produced by Frank Darabont. This is more than just a movie.

There are many in prison, but everyone is actually a criminal! Many innocent people are in some kind of prison. So this movie is centered around a block of a prison. The block where the death row convicts are kept. The prison was named Mail. And Green is mentioned as the last address. So the supervisor of this prison is Paul. One day a man named John Coffey was brought to that prison for killing two children. But he was so innocent that no one would think him a murderer. At one time some miracles also happened. So John Coffey was the murderer? What miracle happened?

This is one of the best movies of Tom Hanks career. And speaking of acting, it was live acting. It cannot be said that everything is so perfect. And what about Michael Clarke Duncan? Anyone will get emotional watching his performance. Especially towards the end, boss, I can't stay dark in that scene. Also, many people have acted, some will like it and some will not tolerate it at all.

A three hour plus movie but it was far from boring for a second and I couldn't even bat an eye. What else can I say about such a beautiful screenplay. The location looks very realistic. BGM is very nice. Recently, how many crimes are being committed in the world, some are getting justice and some are not. Another innocent person is being framed. What is the solution?

4. The Pianist (2002)

Genre: Biographical war drama.

Languages: English, German.

NO SPOILERS

After watching The Pianist (2002) I couldn't help but write about it. I have never seen such a beautiful movie in my life. A riveting movie to watch - couldn't take my eyes off the screen the entire time. Sometimes it was hard to hold back the tears. I sat down to watch this movie after hearing its reputation. Then it seemed worthwhile to see!

Released in 2002, it is an Oscar-winning movie and based on a true story. It won Oscars in three categories. IMDb rating 8.5/10. The indiscriminate killings, brutal torture and destruction of the Jews in Poland by the German Nazi forces during the Second World War are very poignantly portrayed in this movie.

A true story emerges of the war-torn life of a famous Jewish pianist living in Warsaw, Poland. Just as love has a heartwarming form in the world, so hate has a hideous ugly form. Burning and real examples of how man's hatred, malice and war can push man to extreme helplessness and deep darkness can be found in the life story of this pianist. When he is separated from his family and runs alone to save his life in a whirlwind of racial hatred, the heartbreaking events he encounters will leave the audience reeling.

Adrien Brody plays the lead role of the movie, the pianist. After watching the performance, I immediately thought that he should win an Oscar. After the Internet, I saw that he actually won the Oscar! The movie's director, Roman Polanski, also won an Oscar.

In conclusion, The Pianist (2002) is a masterpiece and one of the greatest movies of all time. The Pianist is one of those movies that you should see at least once in your life.

5. Saving Private Ryan (1998)

War, Drama

IMDb Rating 8.6/10

War movies have always been one of my favorites. Among them, "Saving Private Ryan" is one of the best war movies. It is Spielberg's Oscar-winning masterpiece starring Tom Hanks, set in the context of World War II. How close a movie can take the viewer to the war "Saving Private". Ryan" showed that.

The movie is based on a true incident of World War II. At the start of the war, many young men joined the army to fight, so did the four Ryan brothers. But his three elder brothers died in the war. Which is why instructions from above come to John Miller (Tom Hanks) to find Ryan (Matt Damon) and bring him back safely. Because Ryan's mother will not be able to bear the news of the death of four children together. And the story of the movie is about the incident of finding Ryan. From there the name of the movie is Savings Private Ryan.

There is no way to catch any flaw in the movie. Cinematography, emotion, the horror of war, the reality has been brought out by director Spielberg. And Tom Hanks's acting is incomparable. In fact, Tom Hanks is something special.
